You will be visited by a nurse every hour between 6 AM and 10 PM, and every two hours from 10 PM to 6 AM. During this time, the nurse will:

  • monitor your comfort and assess your pain
  • help you move and/or change positions
  • assist with trips to the bathroom

Your nurse will also make sure you have easy access to:

  • water or other beverages
  • glasses
  • call light for assistance
  • urinal and/or bedpan
  • waste basket

We are dedicated to anticipating your needs and monitoring your well-being. If, at any time during your stay, you have questions or concerns, call the nurse manager or department charge nurse.
